Working from a boutique artist's studio in creative hub Collingwood, Sarah's passion for well-crafted, handmade goods encouraged her to dedicate herself to her craft and develop an artisan leather wares company.
Each piece in Sarah's range is produced by hand, including cutting, colouring, gluing, edging and burnishing. The pieces are simply finished off by machine. Up to 16 handmade processes can be used for each piece.
Sarah uses both international and Australian tanners, depending on the application and piece, and always ensures that she uses eco friendly dyes and finishes, as well as the most ethically produced leathers that she can find. Each unique piece is thoughtfully crafted, and environmentally considerate.
Sarah's training and background in Japan and Australia has enabled her to create goods well known for both their aesthetic and function, and ensures that her boutique business is making and creating with both consumer and quality in mind.
